This was our first project with Soanar about 5 years ago. We were hired to build a system on top of an existing database. The system was needed because the simple, text-based, interface that was being used to maintain the database did not give users enough power to quickly insert and update information while maintaining data integrity. An Intranet web application was the most suitable solution because it made it easy for users across the entire company intranet to maintain the database while still controlling access with username and password authentication.
The system allowed for the management and tracking of data about manufacturing supply chains and project costs, as well as keeping track of sales rep performance.
